What We Offer
Our specialised courses integrate the corporate with the holistic and adventure with awareness.
The parallels between sailing and everyday life are well recognised. Our yacht provides an environment away from home and work pressures which is new and non-threatening yet exciting and dynamic. The lessons are learnt quickly and put into practise. For a yacht to be sailed safely and effectively the crew must work as a team. They must communicate, manage effectively, motivate, interact, delegate and accept responsibility. These skills are essential to performance in life and work.
However, you are no different to the professional athlete or the highest paid footballer. Quite simply; No pain no gain! What could be more important than staying fit for the most important match you will ever play? Life itself!
When onboard Frangi you will be in the hands of a professional yachtmaster ocean skipper and a first mate, both fully trained in sailing and first aid skills. From the moment you come onboard you will be immersed in safety and sailing tuition along with group sharing time. Meals will be varied and as freshly prepared as possible, healthy snacks, tea and coffee are unlimited. Mealtimes are bonding times with group sharings. All our 'Dare to Dream Adventures' follow a theme, and there will be a daily theme to develop knowledge and reveal your dreams.
Life Changing Adventure
Using sailing skills, meditation, discovery and sharing to connect and open to the depths of your being, to find harmony and balance, within yourself and with others. This adventure awakens you to appreciate layers of your history, experiences and stories which may limit your full potential. Bring your empathy, integrity and your vulnerability for a rich experience. Just so you know, this can affect your happiness and health in positive ways - tissues may be needed! No experience necessary, simply a willingness to be open and vulnerable (if you are under supervision or medication for depression or personality disorder please contact us in advance to ensure that the weekend is right for you).
Who am I? Am I happy?
Have you ever wondered “Who am I?” This can be answered in several ways; for those of us with strong spiritual or religious beliefs, there is guidance. But for those of us without faith, or those who are uncertain about our being, the question becomes: “Given that I am alive, what do I want from life?” Often the vague response comes that “I want to be happy, doesn’t everybody?” Seems not! We have the choice of living in a state of happiness or unhappiness, we all have free will although many of us live a life which is less than happy or fulfilled even if seemingly successful. We each have to find our own path, getting clear on where we are, our motivations, goals, aspirations and all that goes with that. It’s an exciting or daunting time, as you realise just how much you have to learn and unlearn in order to move forward into a world of awareness! Our weekend uses meditation, questioning, discovery and sharing to bring a new awareness to just “Who am I?” No experience necessary, simply a willingness to be open.
It's a Man's Thing
What is it like to be a man? What does society expect of us? How are we meant to be, act and perform in the world in which we live? This adventure explores the passages in men's lives looking at social conditioning, responsibility and how the man of today is expected to be all things to all beings. It's tough, confusing and a lonely place to be for many men of today. More men aged 25- 45 are likely to take their own lives than die of any other cause. Colin and Sheila create a safe space to share and explore what's really going on.
The Vibrancy of Femininity
To be empowered and balanced in vibrant 'loving' feminine and 'go alone' masculine power brings a greater sense of harmony, wholeness and connection to yourself and to others.
This adventure for women explores your seven major energy centres, the chakras, using yoga stretches, movement, sharing and discovery. Sheila and Colin provide tools to enhance relationships be it with yourself or others. No experience necessary, simply a willingness to be open and vulnerable.
