Weekend Adventures

Encompassing both sailing & life skills

Dare to Dream is a life purpose programme during which you will be taught sailing skills alongside life skills to enable you to meet. any challenges which arise from living in a confined space filled with new challenges with up to 6 strangers away from land and your normal coping strategies.

At least one of the crew will be a MCA commercially endorsed Yachtmaster. Typically, this adventure will cover up to 50miles anchoring in secluded coves, bays and avoiding crowded harbours and marinas.

When you've made the decision to explore your life purpose to any degree, there is a period of acknowledging how safe you feel so it's important to have grounding practices (if you skip this you'll be away with the fairies!). We encourage you get clear on where you're starting from, what you're hoping to achieve, what your motivations are and what you do and don't know about life and all that goes with that. It's an exciting time that can also feel a bit overwhelming as you realise just how much you have to learn and unlearn in order to move forward into this live new world!

Day 1 - Briefings, expectations and forming a team; safety at sea and in your body

Day 2 - Navigation, charts, gaining focus, nutrition; weather, stress, balance

Day 3 - Survival/Spirit, tools for success; clearing the way forward

Days can start at sunrise as we are guided by tides, currents and the elements. Everyone onboard is fully involved in all aspects of sailing and managing the boat.

5 Day Adventures

Encompassing both sailing & life skills

Dare to Dream is a life purpose programme during which you will be taught sailing skills alongside life skills to enable you to meet any challenges which arise from living in a confined space filled with new challenges with up to 6 strangers away from land and your normal coping strategies.

At least one of the crew will be a MCA commercially endorsed Yachtmaster and will introduce much of the RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper Syllabus during the 5 days. Typically, this adventure will cover between 50-250miles anchoring in secluded coves, bays and avoiding crowded harbours and marinas.

21 Day Adventures

Encompassing both sailing & life skills

Our 21 day adventures are true milebuilders, be it crossing the Bay of Biscay, the Irish Sea or the Atlantic. These trips take you into a whole new world of living afloat, out of sight of land and everyday distractions. These are real life changing adventures; they truly take you away from your comfort zone. You will typically spend three hours on watch, six hours off duty and share in the cooking and housekeeping.
